Description

AOV Field Service Engineer – Controls Smoke & Ventilation Panels

  • Do you have Smoke Control Engineer, Fire Alarm Engineer, PLC Engineer, Ventilation Engineer, Intruder Engineer, Alarm Engineer or Controls Engineer experience?
  • Live in the Berkshire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Bucks, Surrey or West London area?

The Company

An established national organisation, who design, supply, install & maintain Smoke Ventilation Control Systems, are seeking additional engineers due to expansion.

Training

Initial & ongoing training will be provided to Engineer’s who have either:

  • Automatic Opening Vent / AOV Engineer / Smoke Ventilation Engineer experience
  • Fire Alarm Engineer, Intruder Engineer, Access Control Engineer experience.
  • Controls Engineer, Panel Engineer experience
  • Ventilation Engineer experience

The Role

Based from home and working within a region, you will undertake PPM & reactive repair within their clients’ sites. This includes:

  • Diagnose and rectify faults in AOV systems, ensuring they are functioning correctly and meeting customer requirements.
  • Inspect & test existing smoke vent systems, performing tests to ensure the operation of smoke vents in both regular & emergency situations
  • Provide support & advice to customers on their proper use and maintenance.
  • Complete all necessary documentation, recommending necessary adjustments, repairs, or replacements

Your Experience

The ideal candidate will have Field Engineer experience, reside within the Berkshire, Hampshire, Sussex or Surrey area and possess:

  • Experience of either; Fire Controls, Fire Alarm, Intruder Alarm, Access Control, BMS Controls, PLC Controls, Ventilation
  • Ideally Electrically qualified (C&G 236 or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of electrical circuits within control panels
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Hours & Remuneration

  • Monday to Friday 8am-4pm (37.5hrs)
  • £38,000 to £45,000 salary on experience
  • Overtime payments
  • Company Van (Peugeot Partner) with private use option
  • Extra payments for excess travel or working away from home
  • 30 days Holiday increasing with service
  • Pension to 8%
