Field Engineer - Commercial Floorcare Equipment
Reside Reading, Swindon, Basingstoke, Guildford, High Wycombe areas
National provider of Commercial Sweepers, Scrubbers, and Commercial Cleaning equipment, are seeking a Field Engineer.
Based from home, with a fully stocked and equipped Company Van, you undertake the servicing, maintenance, repair, and installation of floor cleaning machines across customers’ sites. This role also includes customer training, new-site equipment setups, and occasional demonstrations of equipment for prospective clients.
YOUR EXPERIENCE
Essential:
- Basic mechanical and/or electrical knowledge.
- Experience in field service, maintenance, or a related technical role (desirable but not essential – training provided).
- Ability to diagnose faults and work independently.
- Confidence in customer-facing situations.
- A valid UK driving licence.
Desirable:
- Experience in servicing or repairing cleaning equipment or similar machinery.
- Plumbing experience
IF YOU HAVE THESE SKILLS - Then relevant product training will be provided.
HOURS & PACKAGE;
Based from home, the working hours are Monday to Friday 40hrs.
- Trainee Engineers - circa £30-35k
- Experienced Floorcare Engineers - circa £35-40k
- Van - private use option
- 33 days Holiday (25 days + Bank Holidays)
