Job Overview:

We are recruiting for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join a well-established, family-run Catering Equipment Company based in the York area. This is a full-time, permanent role with excellent career progression, training, and a strong benefits package.

Responsibilities:

• Attend reactive maintenance and fault-finding calls

• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM)

• Occasionally assist with equipment installations

• Deliver excellent customer service on-site

• Complete service reports and documentation accurately

• Participate in an on-call rota (1 in 5 weeks)

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Refrigeration Engineer (commercial or catering sector preferred)

• F-Gas certification – essential

• Full, clean UK driving licence

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and manage a field-based schedule
