The Role
We are currently seeking a Mobile Training Engineer to join the Domestic Heating Training Team, supporting the business in its provision of high quality training to Gas Engineers & Renewables Engineers.
Based from home and working across a region, you will provide high quality training on the company’s expanding combustion & renewable product range including Boilers, Heat Pumps & Controls - to both employees and our customers, from a mobile training vehicle.
At times you may be required to support training across the larger region or country, which may require further travel or overnight stays away from home.
- To work independently or alongside other team members, delivering technical training to customers and internal employees on a range of Boilers, Heat Pumps & Renewable products.
- The role comes with a mobile training van which is used to travel to customer locations as required by the business.
- To help maintain the college links and approved training provider’s network.
- To assist the sales force with product launches, sales events and exhibitions
- To prepare course content and materials
- To develop new and existing courses for the products and legislation
- To be involved in train the trainer projects for the new products and services
Your Experience
You will be a self-motivated, organised Heating Engineer, Gas Engineer, Lead Boiler Engineer, Heat Pump Engineer or Gas Trainer, with a desire to educate & upskill others across our Heat Pump, Renewables & Boiler range.
You will possess:- Strong verbal & written communication skills, confident in communicating to individuals across all levels
- Ability to present to both learners & experienced industry individuals
- Boiler fault-finding & repair experience
- ACS Certification (CCN1 and CEN1)
- Computer literate with Outlook, PowerPoint & Word applications
- Full UK driving Licence – essential
Advantageous:
- An understanding or experience of Renewable Technologies (ASHP)
- Previous Training experience an advantage
Remuneration & Hours:
Working Hours:
37.5 hours a week; Mon – Thurs 08.30 - 17.00 and Fri 08.00 - 16.30 (1hr lunch).Remuneration:
- The remuneration package includes a basic salary of circa £45,000 to £50,000 based on skillset
