Gas Trainer Assessor or Heat Pump Trainer – Training Manager
This established manufacturer of heating & hot water products, which includes Boilers, Cylinders & Heat Pumps, are seeking a Technical Trainer to join their Technical Training Team.
Based predominantly within their Luton Training & Technology centre, you will be responsible in delivering & designing training which supports their range of existing & the new products.
The Role
- Deliver and facilitate technical training to customers and employees.
- Designing training programmes for future product release
- Managing your own time and workload - contributing to the national team success.
- Contributing to the performance and reputation of our training function.
- Develop and drive excellence in our training locations and mobile facilities.
The Candidate
Living within commutable distance of our Luton Training Centre, you will have the skills & experience in order to deliver first class training on our range of Gas Boilers, Heating, Heat Pumps & Renewable products.
You will ideally have previous experience as a Gas Trainer, Gas Assessor, Gas Safe Inspector or Gas Manager, but above all have the communication skills & gas boiler or Heat Pump knowledge to be able to design, deliver & support the training of individuals.
Essential requirements:
- NVQ 3/City and Guilds/Equivalent industry qualifications
- Domestic ACS Core units or F Gas
- Unvented HWSS (G3)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Demonstratable enthusiasm and passion to undertake a training and development role.
- Full UK Driving Licence as some UK travel may be required
Desirable: (but training and support would be offered to attain these qualifications)
- Experience and qualification in heat pumps
- Experience and qualification in F-Gas
- TAQA/A1 Assessor Award or equivalent
- TAQA/V1 Internal Verifier Award or Equivalent
- A Training / Learning and Development qualification such as C&G 7300, 6318 or equivalent – and/or previous experience of successful working within a vocational learning environment
Remuneration & Benefits
Based in our training centre, core hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm, however some occasional UK travel may be required to support other areas.
