- Description
- Deputy Director/ Manager – Childrens Services, Norwich.
We are currently working with our client to recruit a Deputy Director to join their team who provide therapeutic care and treatment to the children in their care.
The Deputy Director assists the Director and the management team;
- Leading the clinical development of the community and the provision of therapeutic treatment for the children.
- Providing an oversight of staff’s iST practice and support staff’s therapeutic development.
- Managing the clinical assessment and evidencing processes. Assessing children and young people and giving professional advice and support to staff.
- Undertaking the supervision and training of therapeutic staff, ensuring practice is effective and research based.
- Devising treatment plans, including risk assessment and risk minimisation.
- Providing or commissioning individual therapies for young people where necessary.
- Contributing to research and the evaluation of clinical effectiveness.
- Representing the clinical work externally.
