- A market leader in the construction product industry are currently recruiting for a HR Director to join their Senior Leadership Team.
My client is looking for a driven and dynamic individual to continue to drive the business forward creating a high performing, agile and "fit for furture" organisation.
Responsibilities:
*Lead, develop and manage the UK HR and Sustainability (HRS) function ensuring high quality service and partnership is provided, in line with the needs of the business. *Work with the UK leadership team to develop the 5 year HRS strategy; implementing programmes and activities that help to increase the businesses capability and performance whilst mitigating risk. *Coach and develop the UK senior leadership team in areas of leadership, culture and organisational readiness for the future. *Develop the cultural change journey for the organisation; ensuring the engagement and empowerment of people to continuously contribute to improvement opportunities. *Work closely with the European business to ensure to standardise processes across the Northern Europe Region. *Keep abreast of rules and regulations regarding all aspects of employment law and payroll / tax compliance, update company polices / procedures when relevant. *Responsible for successful design and implementation of all HR policies, programmes and practices. *Plan, develop, implement and administer programs, procedures, and guidelines to help align people performance with the strategic goals of the company
Requirements:
*CIPD Qualified or educated to degree level (or equivalent industry experience) *Experience of working at a senior level HR role *Generalist background with broad knowledge of employment, compensation, organisational planning, employee relations, training and development, compliance and sustainability *Knowledgeable about sustainability and the benefits to an organisation *Demonstrable HR performance within a fast moving environment, either B2B or B2C *Evidence of leading / supporting both a cultural change programme and a leadership development shift *Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to listen effectively, respond appropriately, and maintain mutual comfort level while relating to a diverse workforce *Customer focused Constantly challenge the way we do business
